how i discovered star wars
It all started in December… I was scrolling through Disney+ looking for a sci-fi film to watch. I was tempted to rewatch Avatar. It is one of my favourite films of all time. Nothing else looked interesting, that was until I stumbled across Star Wars.
I was a bit hesitant to start watching it as I had very little to no knowledge about it. I used to think that Anakin and Luke were siblings. Also, I thought that Darth Vader and Anakin were two different people.
I was a bit confused on where to start. I did a ton of research on what was the best way to view all the films. I went with release order, and it did not make sense at the start. I felt like I jumped into a world without a map, I was super lost.
After I saw the first film, I wanted more. I felt the need to dive deeper even though I had no idea what I got myself into. Six films in and I already want to buy merchandise, specifically Legos. I have seen up to Revenge of The Sith, which made me cry. I do plan on watching the rest of films when I have a chance.
I fell so deep into this film series that I created an edit account for it. I post these edits on TikTok. I have had so much fun creating content. I have linked my account on the homepage.
With the upcoming release of The Mandalorian and Grogu, I am very excited to go see it. This will be the first Star Wars film that I will be watching in theaters! I’ll have to search up the summary of The Mandalorian as I do not think I’ll have the time to watch it.
Either way, I am happy that I have discovered a new franchise to talk about.
Thanks for reading. See you in the next post!
PS: have you read the novel versions of the films? I have been thinking about reading the novel Revenge of The Sith.
