my thoughts on star wars: revenge of the sith
Honestly, I cried.
I feel terrible for Padme. She deserved someone better than Anakin. I believe he had good intentions in Attack of The Clones but that quickly changed as he felt that was not going to be on the Jedi council. I think this played a role in his change of becoming Darth Vader.
I think that is where he spiraled and Emperor Palpatine manipulated him. In the beginning, it looked like Anakin truly cared for Padme. This is seen in the quote: I'm so in love with you when Padme was on the balcony. I wish there was more chemistry shown between them. I found a video of all the deleted scenes from Attack of The Clones. If those scenes were added in the film, it would make their relationship a bit more real.
Anakin slowly lost himself as the dark side as well as the idea of ultimate power got to him. His goal was to save his wife. In the end, she died due to him. He had a ton of anger inside him. He felt betrayed by his wife as she noticed his change in behavior.
I could not stop crying as Anakin used The Force to harm her. She never got to see her kids grow up. She would have been so happy with her twins.
In a different universe, Anakin and Padme raised their kids with love. He never turned evil and was a present father.I think they would take Luke and Leia to Speed Pod races. C3-PO and R2 would care for the kids so they could go on a date every once in a while.
Thanks for reading my small rant on Anakin and Padme.
